Section 40-18-402 Renewal of Alabama Commission. (a) There is hereby created the Renewal of
Alabama Commission. (b) The commission shall be comprised of all of the following persons:
(1) The Director of Finance, or his or her designee. (2) The Secretary of Commerce, or his
or her designee. (3) The Chair of the House Ways and Means Education Committee, or its successor
committee, if any, or his or her designee. (4) The Chair of the Senate Finance and Taxation
Education Committee, or its successor committee, if any, or his or her designee. (5) Three
persons appointed by the Governor, at least one of whom shall be a resident of an area of

Section 30-6-6 Establishment and funding of facilities. (a) In order to be certified, each
domestic violence center shall do all of the following: (1) Provide a facility that shall
serve as a center to receive and house persons who are victims of domestic violence. For the

Section 30-7-2 Minimum standards for domestic violence shelters. (a) The following minimum
standards for domestic violence centers shall be used by the Department of Economic and Community
Affairs to determine membership in the coalition or other qualified entity and eligibility
for receiving funds administered by the Department of Economic and Community Affairs. Any
domestic violence center seeking membership shall meet the following qualifications: (1) Be
a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation created for the purpose of operating a domestic violence

Alabama Behavior Analyst Licensing Board Fund. (a) The Alabama Behavior Analyst Licensing
Board is established within the Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities.
The board shall consist of seven members, including four licensed behavior analysts, one licensed
