Section 22-22B-4 Program for management and marketing of recyclable materials; contracts
authorized. State agencies and public school systems are hereby authorized to enter into contracts
of three years or less duration with private and nonprofit organizations for the purpose of
managing recyclable materials, subject to the approval of the surplus property division of
the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs. Recyclable materials produced by
state agencies and public school systems may be sold to public purchasers or may be donated
to nonprofit organizations as long as the materials are substantially recycled. Sales and

Section 22-34-11 Dedicated source of revenue to repay moneys; default; accounting standards.
(a) In order to provide for the funding of the loan by the authority for a project to the
public body, such public body shall establish a dedicated source of revenue to repay the moneys
received from the authority and to provide for operation, maintenance and equipment replacement
expenses. Such public body is hereby authorized and empowered, any existing statute to the
contrary notwithstanding, to do and perform any one or more of the following: (1) To obligate
itself to pay to the authority at periodic intervals a sum sufficient to provide bond debt

Section 41-9-219.3 Application for designation as a qualified equity investment. (a)
A qualified community development entity that seeks to have an equity investment or long-term
debt security designated as a qualified equity investment and eligible for tax credits under
this article shall apply to the department. The qualified community development entity shall
