Section 45-32-72 Greene County Districting Commission. (a) In Greene County, there is hereby created a three member Greene County Districting Commission, hereinafter referred to as districting commission, to establish districts for the election of members of the Greene County Commission and the Greene County Board of Education. One member of the districting commission shall be appointed by the Greene County Board of Education, hereinafter referred to as board; one member shall be appointed by the Greene County Commission, hereinafter referred to as commission; and, one member shall be appointed by the state representative and state senator representing Greene County, hereinafter referred to as delegation. (a) There is continued as previously established the Alabama Surface Mining Reclamation Commission under the name of the Alabama Surface Mining Commission for the purpose of transition in implementing and enforcing this article and carrying out the intent and policy stated in Section 9-16-71. (a) The board shall be assisted in formulating rules and policy pertaining to emergency medical services by the State Emergency Medical Control Committee (SEMCC).
