Section 21-3A-3 Definitions. The following words and phrases used in this chapter have the following respective meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) COUNCIL. The Interagency Coordinating Council as established in Section 21-3A-4. (2) EARLY INTERVENTION SERVICES. Any developmental services that: a. Are provided under public supervision. b. Are designed to meet the developmental needs of each eligible child and the needs of the family related to enhancing the development of the child. c. Are selected in collaboration with the parents. d. Section 41-23-193 Creations; functions; fee. (a) The Alabama Public Transportation Trust Fund is created in the State Treasury for the distribution of designated funds appropriated by the Legislature or collected from grants or other sources for the purpose of increasing public transportation options across the State of Alabama. Section 23-1-40 Duties and powers generally. (a) It shall be the duty of the Department of Transportation to designate the roads to be constructed, repaired, and maintained and to construct, standardize, repair, and maintain roads and bridges of this state; and it shall have authority to make contracts or agreements to construct or pave the roadway only of the street or streets which will serve to connect the state highway constructed or repaired by the department within any municipality in the State of Alabama. Section 25-4-40.1 Employment Security Enhancement Fund. (a) Retroactive to April 1, 1992, there is hereby placed upon all wages so defined in Section 25-4-16, paid to employees by employers subject to pay contributions as provided in Sections 25-4-51 and 25-4-54, except as is hereinafter provided in this section, a special assessment of 0.06 percent (six one-hundredths of one percent) of such wages. Section 32-9A-2 Compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations; in-service training by law enforcement officers.
