Section 16-46B-5 Computer science education task force. (a) The Governor shall establish a
computer science education task force to develop a state strategic plan for expanding computer
science education in the public schools in Alabama. (b) The membership of the task force shall
include all of the following: (1) One member of the House of Representatives, as appointed

Section 41-19-7 Formulation and presentation to Legislature and agencies/departments of Governor's
proposed program and financial plan. (a) The Governor shall formulate the program and financial
plan to be recommended to the Legislature after considering each state agency's proposed program
and financial plan. The Governor's plan shall include his recommended goals and policies,
recommended plans to implement the goals and policies, recommended budget for the succeeding

Section 16-6A-9 Development of plan for improving courses in critical needs areas. (a) The
State Board of Education shall develop and establish a comprehensive plan for improving courses
in science, mathematics, computer education and other critical needs areas. In developing
such plan, the superintendent shall consult with teacher organizations, school personnel,
legislative leaders, the Governor's office, representatives from private industry, public
and private higher education and from the fields of education, mathematics, science and computer

Section 26-16-6 Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board - Duties and functions of board and
department. (a) The state board shall do all of the following: (1) Meet not less than twice

policies to ensure rights. All providers who contract or subcontract with any federal, state,
or local agency or program to provide services in the State of Alabama to persons with developmental
