Section 41-15B-2.2 Allocation of trust fund revenues. (a) For each fiscal year, beginning October
1, 1999, contingent upon the Children First Trust Fund receiving tobacco revenues and upon
appropriation by the Legislature, an amount of up to and including two hundred twenty-five
thousand dollars ($225,000), or equivalent percentage of the total fund, shall be designated
for the administration of the fund by the council and the Commissioner of Children's Affairs.
(b) For the each fiscal year, beginning October 1, 1999, contingent upon the Children First
Trust Fund receiving tobacco revenues, the remainder of the Children First Trust Fund, in
the amounts provided for in Section 41-15B-2.1, shall be allocated as follows: (1) Ten percent
of the fund shall be allocated to the Department of Public Health for distribution to one

Section 16-36-62 Local textbook committee. (a) A local textbook committee or committees shall
be appointed by each separate local board of education. The number, size, and composition,
which shall include parents, of the committee or committees shall be determined by each local
board of education. A copy of local school board policies in regard to local textbook committees

Section 40-9-14.1 Certificates of exemption to governmental entities, contractors, etc., for
certain tax exempt projects. (a) For the purposes of this section, the term governmental entity
means the State of Alabama and its political subdivisions, including a county, a municipality,
an industrial or economic development board or authority, and any public water or sewer authority,

savings contract, a governmental unit shall submit a request for proposals. The governmental
unit shall evaluate any proposal from a qualified provider and shall select the qualified
