Section 41-10-755 Bonds of the authority. (a) General. The authority is authorized from time to time to sell and issue its bonds for the purpose of providing funds to be transferred to and deposited in the Alabama Trust Fund and the Rainy Day Account, to provide additional funds to the Alabama Medicaid Agency, for paying the costs of transportation projects, and for the purpose of refunding any or all of the authority's outstanding bonds. Bonds may be sold by the corporation in series, and if sold in more than one series may all be authorized in one initial resolution of the board of directors with the pledges made in such initial resolution, although some of the details applicable to each series may be specified in the respective resolutions under which the different series are issued. Section 39-2-8 Execution of contracts and furnishing of performance bonds, etc., generally by bidders awarded contracts. The bidder to whom the award is made shall, when required, enter into a written contract on the form included in the proposal, plans, and specifications, furnish a performance bond and payment bond executed by a surety company duly authorized and qualified to make such bonds in the State of Alabama in the amount required by subsection (a) of Section 39-1-1 and provide evidence of insurance as required by the bid documents within the period specified or, if no period is specified, within 15 days after the prescribed forms have been presented to him or her for signature. Section 22-11A-12 Statewide outpatient clinics; State Board of Health to contract for regional tuberculosis hospitals; expenditures. (a) It shall be the duty of the State Board of Health to assure the statewide operation of outpatient clinics necessary for the treatment and control of tuberculosis. These clinics shall make available anti-tuberculosis drugs, other tuberculosis services, and conduct a continuing search for individuals infected with tuberculosis.
