Section 45-4-244.20 County sales tax to parallel state tax; exemptions; collection and disposition of funds; enforcement. (a) All words, terms, and phrases that are defined in Article 1 of Chapter 23 of Title 40 shall, where used in this section have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in Article 1 except where the context herein clearly indicates a different meaning. In addition, the following words, terms, and phrases where used in this section shall have the following respective meanings except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning: (1) STATE SALES TAX STATUTES. Section 45-49A-20.02 Hearings on unsafe structures; orders; appeals. Within the time specified in such notice, but not more than 60 days from the date such notice is given, any person, firm, or corporation having an interest in such building or structure may file a written request for a hearing before the city governing body, together with his or her objections to the finding by the appropriate city official that such building or structure is unsafe to the extent of becoming a public nuisance. (a) As governed by this subsection, there exists as a part of this retirement system, an optional account known as the Deferred Retirement Option Plan, which may be cited as "DROP."
