Section 22-3A-15 Disposition of proceeds of bonds; Public Health Facilities Building Fund; powers of authority; improvement and construction defined; supervision; bidding. (a) The proceeds of the bonds, other than refunding bonds, remaining after paying the expenses of their sale and issuance shall be turned in to the State Treasury and all income derived from the investment of said proceeds (including income from the investment of proceeds held in the Debt Service Reserve Fund to the extent provided in the resolution, trust indenture or other documents pursuant to which the bonds shall be issued) shall be carried in a special fund to be designated the Public Health Facilities Building Fund, and shall be subject to be drawn on by the authority for the purpose of paying the costs of acquiring, constructing, improving and equipping such public health facilities in the state as shall be determined by the authority. Section 28-3-184 Tax levied; collection; disposition of funds. (a) Levy. In addition to the licenses provided for by Chapter 3A of this title, there is hereby levied a privilege or excise tax on every person licensed under the provisions of said Chapter 3A who sells, stores or receives for the purpose of distribution, to any person, firm, corporation, club or association within the State of Alabama any malt or brewed beverages. The tax levied hereby shall be measured by and graduated in accordance with the volume of sales by such person of malt or brewed beverages, and shall be an amount equal to $.05 for each 12 fluid ounces or fractional part thereof. Section 41-14A-3 Public deposits to be secured; exemptions. (a) On and after January 1, 2001: (1) All public deposits of all covered public entities and covered public officials shall be governed by this chapter and shall be secured as provided in this chapter. Section 39-2-12 Partial and final payments of contractors by awarding authorities. (a) As used in this section the following words shall have the meanings ascribed to them as follows: (1) CONTRACTOR.
