Section 41-14-2 Application for designation action upon default or insolvency. Before any bank or savings association shall be designated as a state depositary, it shall be designated as a qualified public depository under Chapter 14A of this title, and it shall file with the State Treasurer an application in writing to be designated as a state depositary under the terms of this article. Such qualified public depository shall accompany such application with a statement, verified by the affidavit of its president or other executive head, setting forth the amount of its paid-in capital stock, the amount of its surplus and undivided profits, its principal place of business, the length of time it has been engaged in business and its assets and liabilities at the time of making application. Section 36-17-3 Duties generally. The powers, functions, and duties of the Treasurer shall be: (1) To receive all moneys due the state and deposit them in the proper accounts. Section 5-17-8 Reports to Administrator of Alabama Credit Union Administration; powers of administrator. (a) Credit unions shall report to the Administrator of the Alabama Credit Union Administration at least annually on or before January 31 in such manner and form as required by the administrator for that purpose. Additional reports may be required. Credit unions shall be examined at least every 18 months by employees of the administration or by other persons designated by the administrator. (a) Every person who applies for an initial Alabama driver's license issued by the Department of Public Safety under this article shall be given and successfully pass an examination before the issuance of a driver's license.
