Section 22-3A-2 Definitions. The following words and phrases used in this chapter, unless
the context clearly indicates otherwise, shall have the following respective meanings: (1)
AUTHORITY. The public corporation organized pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. (2)
BONDS. The bonds issued under the provisions of this chapter. (3) COUNTY BOARD(S) OF HEALTH.
County board(s) of health provided for in Chapter 3 of Subtitle 1 of Title 22. (4) DIRECTORS.
The board of directors of the authority. (5) GOVERNMENT SECURITIES. Any bonds or other obligations
which as to principal and interest constitute direct obligations of, or are unconditionally
guaranteed by, the United States of America, including obligations of any federal agency to
the extent such obligations are unconditionally guaranteed by the United States of America
and any certificates or any other evidences of an ownership interest in such obligation of,

Section 23-1-314 Bonds and notes - Payment generally. (a) For the purpose of providing
funds to enable the authority to pay at their respective maturities and due dates the principal
of and interest on the obligations that may be issued by it under this article at any time

Section 11-28-4 Authorization of refunding warrants. Each county may at any time and
from time to time issue refunding warrants for the purpose of refunding refundable debt then
outstanding, whether such refunding shall occur before, at or after the maturity of the refundable
debt to be refunded, and such refunding warrants shall be governed by the provisions of this
chapter as and to the same extent applicable to warrants authorized in Section 11-28-2.
In the discretion of the county commission of the issuing county, such refunding warrants
may be issued in exchange for the instruments evidencing the refundable debt to be refunded
or they may be sold and the proceeds thereof applied to the purchase, redemption or payment

Section 2-6-70 Definitions. As used in this article, the following words shall have
the following meanings unless the context clearly requires otherwise: (1) AGRICULTURAL CENTER

Section 16-16A-7 Additional findings; bonds authorized; procedures. (a) The Legislature
finds that the number of students attending the several school systems located in those areas
of North Alabama that will be directly impacted by the 2005 BRAC and Subsequent BRAC Actions
will collectively increase by an estimated 9,000 students. As a result, there will be a need
for the construction of additional school facilities as well as the renovation of existing
school facilities. The Legislature also finds that the 2005 BRAC and Subsequent BRAC Actions
will have a positive impact on future receipts to the Education Trust Fund, as the significant
population growth in North Alabama will increase sales, income, and other tax collections.

Section 40-12-270 Disbursement of net proceeds from license taxes and registration fees;
Secondary Road Committee created. (a) The moneys collected each month by the judge of probate
