Section 11-92C-4 Procedure to incorporate; contents and execution of certificate of incorporation. (a) Within 40 days following the adoption of the authorizing resolution, the applicants shall proceed to incorporate the authority by filing for record in the office of the judge of probate of the county in which the proposed local redevelopment area is located a certificate of incorporation which shall comply in form and substance with the requirements of this section and which shall be in the form and executed in the manner provided in this section. Section 45-5-141.20 Powers and duties; annual dues; board of trustees; referendum election. (a) This section shall apply only in Blount County. (b) A district for the delivery of fire and emergency medical services may be formed in any unincorporated area of the county pursuant to this section subject to the approval of a majority of the qualified electors who vote at a referendum election for that purpose in the proposed district and for the approval of the mandatory annual dues of the district. (a) Each authority shall have a board of directors composed of the number of directors provided in the certificate of incorporation, as most recently amended.
