Section 11-55-3 Bonds - Form, terms, denominations, etc.; execution, sale, delivery, redemption,
etc. All bonds issued by a municipality under authority of this chapter shall be limited obligations
of the municipality, the principal of and interest on which shall be payable solely out of
the revenues derived from the leasing of the project to finance which the bonds are issued.
Bonds and interest coupons issued under authority of this chapter shall never constitute an
indebtedness of the municipality within the meaning of any state constitutional provisions
or statutory limitation and shall never constitute nor give rise to a pecuniary liability
of the municipality or a charge against its general credit or taxing powers, and such fact

Section 40-18-376.3 Qualifying projects by technology companies. (a)(1) This section shall
be applicable to a technology company so long as there is a project agreement which provides
that Alabama is or will become the company's headquarters, the place of residence of its top
three executives, and the place of residence of at least 75 percent of its employees. (2)
In making the findings required by Section 40-18-373(1), a technology company that proposes
a qualifying project shall be an approved company for purposes of this section only if the
Secretary of Commerce makes the additional finding that the qualifying project will increase
the economic diversity of, or otherwise benefit, the state. (b) If provided for in the project

Section 40-18-71 Withholding tax. (a) Every employer, as defined under the laws of the United
States in effect July 1, 1982, or as subsequently may be defined, with respect to income tax
collected at source, making payment of wages as defined under such laws to employees, shall

An insurer may invest in bonds, debentures, or other evidences of indebtedness of local public
housing authorities existing under the laws of the United States or of any state if such obligations
