Section 23-7-4 Board of directors. (a) The board of directors is the governing board of the bank. The board shall consist of seven voting members as follows: (1) The Director of the Department of Transportation, ex officio, who shall be designated as chair. (2) The State Finance Director, ex officio, who shall be designated as secretary. (3) Three members appointed by the Governor. (4) One member of the House of Representatives appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives. (5) One member of the Senate appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. (b) Members appointed by the Governor hold office concurrently with the Governor and until their successors are appointed and qualified.
