Section 31-9-82 Committee. (a) There is hereby established the Alabama Disaster Recovery Program Committee, which shall be convened solely for purposes provided under this article. The committee shall consist of the following members: (1) The Director of the Department of Transportation, or his or her designee. (2) The State Forester, or his or her designee. (3) The Director of the Emergency Management Agency, or his or her designee. (4) A county commissioner appointed by the Association of County Commissions of Alabama. (5) A mayor or member of a city council appointed by the Alabama League of Municipalities. (6) A local emergency management director appointed by the Alabama Association of Emergency Managers.
