Section 41-10-232 Africatown, U.S.A. State Park to be included in listings of state parks; use of park. In order to preserve and interpret to the public the historic and cultural properties at and near Africatown, U.S.A. in Mobile County, the Commissioner of the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources shall include the descriptions of lands and boundaries contained in Section 41-10-233 on any registry or listings of state parks. The Africatown, U.S.A. State Park shall be comprised of those facilities authorized in Section 41-10-234 and shall be utilized as a park for recreational use by the general public and for no other and different purpose, as stated in the deed conveying said property to the City of Prichard. (a) The authority shall adopt rules and regulations for the disposition of property in which the authority holds a legal interest, which rules and regulations shall address the conditions set forth in this section. Section 40-29A-3 Tax amnesty program. (a) The department shall develop and implement a tax amnesty program in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. The commissioner may provide by rule as necessary for the administration and implementation of the program. The commissioner shall publicize the program in order to maximize the public awareness of and participation in the program.
