Section 45-49-261.04 Procedure for adoption and amendment of ordinances and regulations. (a) The Mobile County Commission may adopt ordinances and regulations as necessary to effect this part. The ordinances or regulations shall be made in accordance with a master plan and designed to lessen congestion in the streets, to secure safety from fire, panic, and other dangers, to promote health and general welfare, to provide adequate light and air, to prevent overcrowding of land, to avoid undue concentration of population, and to facilitate the adequate provision of transportation, water, sewerage, schools, parks, and other public requirements. (a) The county governing body of Bullock County is authorized, when the need exists to provide protection against forest fires in Bullock County by participating in the Alabama Forestry Commission's fire protection program in the manner hereinafter specified. Section 11-24-3 Fines; injunctions; inspections; enforcement of chapter. (a) Any owner or developer failing to comply with the permitting requirement or otherwise violating this chapter or any rule or regulation made pursuant to this chapter shall be fined one thousand dollars ($1,000) per lot that has been sold, offered for sale, transferred, or leased to the public.
