Section 45-39-221 Definitions. (a) The following words and phrases used in this part, and others evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, in the absence of clear implication herein otherwise, shall be given the following respective interpretations herein: (1) AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION. The resolution adopted by the governing body of the City of Florence or the county, in accordance with this part, that authorizes the organization of the tourism board. (2) BOARD. Section 11-52-32 Approval or disapproval of plat generally; legal effect of approval; powers of planning commission as to subdivision zoning; approval or disapproval of plat in certain cities. Section 11-81A-4 Limitations and amplification of securities authorization. Securities issued under the authority of this chapter shall mature at such time or times as the governing body of the issuer shall determine, not later than the date on which the last installment of the grant is reasonably expected to be received.
