Section 22-21-318 Powers of authority. (a) In addition to all other powers granted elsewhere
in this article, and subject to the express provisions of its certificate of incorporation,
an authority shall have the following powers, together with all powers incidental thereto
or necessary to the discharge thereof in corporate form: (1) To have succession by its corporate
name for the duration of time, which may be in perpetuity, specified in its certificate of
incorporation or until dissolved as provided in Section 22-21-339; (2) To sue and be sued
in its own name in civil suits and actions, and to defend suits and actions against it, including
suits and actions ex delicto and ex contractu, subject, however, to the provisions of Chapter

body and a body corporate and politic exercising public powers, and having all the powers

training plans; rights of children; licensing and inspection of food preparation areas; access
by law enforcement agencies. (a) Commencing on January 1, 2018, the department shall register

youth residential facility, youth social rehabilitation facility, community treatment facility

Section 41-15B-2.2 Allocation of trust fund revenues. (a) For each fiscal year, beginning October
1, 1999, contingent upon the Children First Trust Fund receiving tobacco revenues and upon
appropriation by the Legislature, an amount of up to and including two hundred twenty-five
thousand dollars ($225,000), or equivalent percentage of the total fund, shall be designated
for the administration of the fund by the council and the Commissioner of Children's Affairs.

Section 34-24-70 Qualifications of applicants. (a) The following constitute the requirements
for the issuance of a certificate of qualification for a license to practice medicine in this
state: (1) MEDICAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENT. All applicants for a certificate of qualification

Section 22-56-5 Department to establish official standards for certification. In order to ensure
that consumers of mental health services through state facilities, community mental health
centers, and other providers under contract to the department receive individual treatment
and that rights delineated in Section 22-56-4 and elsewhere in state and federal law are consistently
observed within mental health programs operated by the providers, the department shall establish
within 180 days of January 1, 1996, official standards for certification to be observed by
