Section 40-9-1 Persons and property generally. The following property and persons shall be
exempt from ad valorem taxation and none other: (1) All bonds of the United States and this
state and all county and municipal bonds issued by counties and municipalities in this state,

Section 45-2-241.01 Electronic filing of business personal property tax returns. (a) This section
is enacted pursuant to Amendment No. 783 of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, now appearing
as Section 5.01 of the Baldwin County Local Amendments, Official Recompilation of the Constitution
of Alabama of 1901, as amended. (b) The Legislature finds that it is in the best interest
of Baldwin County and the operation of the office of the Baldwin County Revenue Commissioner

Section 45-37A-230 Demolition of unsafe buildings. (a) The City of Homewood shall have authority,
after notice as provided herein, to move or demolish buildings and structures, or parts of
buildings and structures, party walls, and foundations when the same are found by the governing

Section 11-50-91 Payment of assessments generally. The council, in purchasing any sewers or
sewer system the cost of which or any part thereof is to be assessed against the area drained
