Section 9-16-90 Environmental protection performance standards. (a) Any permit issued pursuant
to this article to conduct surface mining operations shall require that such surface coal
mining operations will meet all applicable performance standards of this article, and such
other requirements as the regulatory authority shall promulgate. (b) General performance standards
shall be applicable to all surface coal mining and reclamation operations and shall require
the operation as a minimum to: (1) Conduct surface coal mining operations so as to maximize
the utilization and conservation of the solid fuel resource being recovered so that reaffecting
the land in the future through surface coal mining can be minimized; (2) Restore the land
affected to a condition capable of supporting the uses which it was capable of supporting
prior to any mining, or higher or better uses of which there is reasonable likelihood, so

Section 15-18-200 Motion by persons convicted of capital offense for forensic DNA testing and
analysis. (a) An individual convicted of a capital offense who is serving a term of imprisonment
or awaiting execution of a sentence of death, through written motion to the circuit court
that entered the judgment of sentence, may apply for the performance of forensic deoxyribonucleic
acid testing on specific evidence, if that evidence was secured in relation to the investigation
or prosecution that resulted in the conviction of the applicant, is still available for testing
as of the date of the motion, forensic DNA testing was not performed on the case at the time
of the initial trial, and the results of the forensic DNA testing, on its face, would demonstrate
the convicted individual's factual innocence of the offense convicted. The filing of a motion

Section 16-6F-7 Applicant proposals; conversion to public charter school; terms of charters;
contracts. (a) Request for proposals. (1) To solicit, encourage, and guide the development
of quality public charter school applications, every local school board, in its role as public
charter school authorizer, shall issue and broadly publicize a request for proposals for public
charter school applications by July 17, 2015, and by November 1 in each subsequent year. The
content and dissemination of the request for proposals shall be consistent with the purposes

Alabama Behavior Analyst Licensing Board Fund. (a) The Alabama Behavior Analyst Licensing
Board is established within the Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities.

in such fund may be expended. (a) There is created the Shoals Economic Development Fund, which
shall be a special or trust fund or account of the committee, and which shall be administered

Section 34-13-11 Authorizing agent; right of disposition. (a) A person, who is at least 18
years of age and of sound mind, may enter into a contract to act as authorizing agent and
direct the location, manner, and conditions of disposition of remains and arrange for funeral

Section 15-20A-5 Sex offenses. For the purposes of this chapter, a sex offense includes any
of the following offenses: (1) Rape in the first degree, as provided by Section 13A-6-61.
(2) Rape in the second degree, as provided by Section 13A-6-62. A juvenile sex offender adjudicated
delinquent of a violation of rape in the second degree is presumed to be exempt from this

Section 34-27A-7 Application for licensure and examination; fees; pledge; conditions. (a) Applications
for original license, renewal license, and examinations shall be made in writing to the board
on forms approved by the board. (b) Appropriate fees, as fixed by the board pursuant to Section
