Section 40-3-1 Creation; composition; qualifications of members. There shall be in each county in the State of Alabama a county board of equalization, to consist of three members, each of whom shall have been a resident of the county in which he is to serve for at least five years. The members of the several county boards of equalization, as now constituted, shall hold office until their successors are appointed and qualified under the provisions of Section 40-3-2 and shall have the powers and perform the duties provided for in this article. Section 40-9F-4 Tax credits calculated, claimed, reserved, granted; transfer or assignment of tax credits. (a) The state portion of any tax credit against the tax imposed by Chapters 16 and 18, for the taxable year in which the certified rehabilitation is placed in service, shall be equal to 25 percent of the qualified rehabilitation expenditures for certified historic structures, and shall be 10 percent of the qualified rehabilitation expenditures for qualified pre-1936 non-historic structures.
