Section 45-37-246 License procedures by mail. (a) This section shall apply only in counties having a population of 300,000 or more according to the last or any subsequent federal census. (b) On or after September 1st of each year, the judge of probate of each county may, if he or she elects to do so, mail an application in the form and containing the information hereinafter provided to all owners of motor vehicles listed as such in the motor vehicle license records, including transfers, in his or her office or, at his or her option, to such owners as request that such application be mailed to them. (c) The application shall be on a form to be provided by the State Department of Revenue. Section 33-5-75 Authority of Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources to cancel certification or to suspend or revoke privilege of operating vessel; procedures. (a) The Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources may cancel any boater safety certification upon determining that the holder of the certification was not entitled to the issuance or that the holder failed to give the correct or required information in the application for certification. For the purpose of securing the payment of any tax, penalties or interest due or which may become due under the provisions of this division, every itinerant vendor engaged in the business of selling tangible personal property at retail in this state is required to file a bond with the Department of Revenue, conditioned upon the payment of any tax, penalty or interest due or to become due under this division and upon faithful observance of the provisions of the division. Section 27-5A-7 Required contract provisions; reinsurance intermediary-managers. Transactions between a reinsurance intermediary-manager and the reinsurer it represents in that capacity shall only be entered into pursuant to a written contract, specifying the responsibilities of each party, which shall be approved by the reinsurer's board of directors. (a) In DeKalb County, in addition to all other taxes imposed by law, there is levied a privilege or license tax in the amount herein prescribed against every person within the county engaging in the business of renting or furnishing a room or rooms, lodging or accommodations, to a transient in a hotel, motel, inn, condominium, house, tourist court, or another place in which rooms, lodgings, or accommodations are regularly furnished to transients for a consideration.
