Section 30-3-62 Who may petition for withholding order; withholding on existing support orders;
filing with clerk; service; hearing; issuance of order; contents; when order takes effect;
entry of support and withholding orders by different courts; termination of withholding. (a)
Section 8-5-21 to the contrary notwithstanding, and in addition to and independent of any
other remedy provided by law for the enforcement of support, the obligee, district attorney,
or representative of the Department of Human Resources may file with a court of this state,
as defined in this article, a petition seeking an order of income withholding. Additionally,
for all existing support orders issued in the State of Alabama that do not provide for income
withholding and upon the filing of an application for support services by the obligee with
the department, the department shall petition the court for an income withholding order pursuant

Section 45-49-249.32 Violations; powers and duties of department; unavailability of stamps.
It shall be unlawful for any dealer, storer, or distributor engaged in or continuing in Mobile
County in the business for which the tax is hereby levied to fail or refuse to add to the
sales price and collect from the purchaser the amount due on account of the tax herein provided
or to refund or offer to refund all or any part of the amount collected or absorb or advertise
directly or indirectly the absorption of the tax or any portion thereof. Any person, firm,
corporation, club, or association violating this section shall be subject to a civil penalty
of not less than twenty five dollars ($25) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500). Each

Nothing in this article shall be construed as applying to the shipping, sale, possession,
and use of special fireworks for public displays by holders of a permit for a public display
to be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations governing this type of fireworks
by the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms division of the United States Treasury Department, and
their requirements met and any permit or license required by them secured before application
