Section 40-15-7 Nonresident decedents. (a) Except as herein otherwise provided, all of the provisions of this chapter shall be applicable to so much of the estates of nonresident decedents as is subject to estate tax under the act of Congress in effect at the time of the death of decedent as consists of real estate or tangible personal property located within this state or other items of property or interest therein lawfully subject to the imposition of an estate tax by the State of Alabama. Section 40-18-24.2 Taxation of pass-through entities. (a) For purposes of this section and Section 40-18-24.3, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) MEMBER. Section 40-9F-3 Standards for approval; application, rehabilitation plan; review; certification; tax credit certification; fees; report to Legislature. (a) The commission shall develop standards for the approval of the substantial rehabilitation of qualified structures for which a tax credit is sought. Section 40-12-253 Ad valorem taxation of motor vehicles. (a) Effective January 1, 2000, ad valorem taxes on motor vehicles shall be assessed and the tax collected forward on a current basis to coincide with the collection of motor vehicle license taxes and registration fees. Section 45-11-140 Forest fire protection. (a) The County Commission of Chilton County is authorized, when the need exists, to provide protection against forest fires in Chilton County by participating in the Alabama Forestry Commission's fire protection program in the manner hereinafter specified.
