Section 11-51-98 License tax on vending and weighing machines - Authorized generally. Section 20-2-190.2 Electronic drug offender tracking system. (a) For the purposes of this section, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) DRUG RELATED CONVICTION. Any conviction or plea of nolo contendere for the offense of possession, distribution, trafficking, or any degree of manufacture of controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia. A drug related conviction shall also include the inchoate crimes of attempt, solicitation, or conspiracy of any of the drug related crimes. (2) DRUG OFFENDER. (a) It shall be the duty of each wholesale dealer or jobber who sells, stores, or delivers cigarettes to retail sellers in this county to affix to each package of cigarettes sold or delivered in the county a stamp or stamps in the proper amounts as set forth in Section 45-27-247.02. Each wholesaler or jobber who desires to do so may purchase stamps from the judge of probate at a 10 percent discount on the entire amount of sale when the purchases are made in quantities of two hundred dollars ($200) or more.
