Section 20-2-190 Penalties; sale of ephedrine, etc.; Alabama Drug Abuse Task Force. (a) Any
person who manufactures, sells, transfers, receives, or possesses a listed precursor chemical
violates this article if the person: (1) Knowingly fails to comply with the reporting requirements
of this article; (2) Knowingly makes a false statement in a report or record required by this
article or the rules adopted thereunder; (3) Is required by this article to have a listed
precursor chemical license or permit, and is a person as defined by this article, and knowingly
or deliberately fails to obtain such a license or permit. An offense under this subsection
shall constitute a Class C felony. (b) Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 20-2-188,
a person who possesses, sells, transfers, or otherwise furnishes or attempts to solicit another

Section 11-46-68 Miscellaneous offenses. (a) Any person who shall willfully fail or refuse
to perform or discharge any duty relating to absent voters required of him by this article
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, shall be fined not more than $100.00.
(b) Any person found drunk or intoxicated at or about any polling place during any municipal
election day is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than

Section 2-17-35 Forfeiture by persons, firms, etc., upon failure to file annual or special
reports as required by commissioner. If any person, firm or corporation required by this chapter
to file any annual or special report shall fail so to do within the time fixed by the commissioner
for filing the same and such failure shall continue for 30 days after notice of such default,
such person, firm or corporation shall forfeit to this state the sum of $25.00 for each and
every day of the continuance of such failure, which forfeiture shall be payable into the Treasury
of this state and shall be recoverable in a civil action in the name of the state brought

Section 40-7-24 Failure to make return of gross or net receipts or commissions from business.
When any person or any company, corporation, or association existing under the laws of this
state, or under the laws of any other state or country, doing business in this state is required
to make to the assessor returns of the gross or net receipts or commissions of such business,
and such returns are not made within the time required by law, but shall remain in default
for the space of 10 days thereafter, the assessor, after notice to the party required to make
