Section 11-50A-8 Powers of the authority. In addition to other powers granted the authority
by this chapter, it shall have all powers consistent with the purposes of the authority as
set forth in Section 11-50A-3, which are necessary or convenient to carry out and effectuate
the purposes and provisions of this chapter, including, but without limiting the generality
of the foregoing, the following enumerated powers, which shall be exercised by the authority

Section 45-36-252.06 Bonds of the authority; obligations. (a) In addition to all other powers
now or hereafter granted by law, the authority shall have the following powers, together with
all powers incidental thereto or necessary to the discharge thereof in corporate form: (1)

Section 11-51-208 Collection of taxes by Department of Revenue - Reports; costs; enabling act;
rules and regulations; assessment, rates of interest. (a) Municipalities may, upon request
of the municipal governing body, engage the Department of Revenue to collect and administer
their municipal sales, use, rental, and lodgings tax. Subject to subsections (c) and (d),
the Department of Revenue shall collect and administer the municipal sales, use, rental, and

Section 11-3-11.3 Collection of local taxes - Department of Revenue. (a) Counties may, upon
request of the county commission, engage the Department of Revenue to collect and administer
any county sales, use, rental, lodgings, tobacco, or other local taxes for which there is
a corresponding state levy. Subject to subsections (d) and (e) below, the department shall

Section 9-14E-5 Acceptance of proposals; project agreement; Gulf State Park Project Committee.
(a) No later than 30 days after acceptance of a proposal by the Governor, the Governor shall
submit the accepted proposal to the Director of Finance and Alabama Building Commission for
evaluation, review, and comments pertaining to the information provided in the proposal. The
Director of Finance and Alabama Building Commission shall provide such evaluation, review,
and comments to the Governor no later than 60 days after acceptance of a proposal by the Governor.
(b) Upon acceptance of a proposal by the Governor, and subject to the provisions of subsection
(a), the Governor shall enter into negotiations of a project agreement with the person who

Section 40-18-371 Requirements for receipt of incentives. For a company to receive one or both
of the jobs act incentives provided in this article, all of the following shall occur: (1)
There must be a qualifying project predominantly conducting an activity specified in Section
40-18-372(1); (2) The qualifying project shall create at least the number of new jobs specified

Section 11-51-185 Request for department to collect municipal taxes; effective date; when department
to perform duties under division. (a) Except where the Department of Revenue is already collecting
taxes on July 1, 1998, any municipality requesting the Department of Revenue to collect its
tax shall forward a certified copy of the enabling act, ordinance, or resolution to the department
at least 30 days prior to the first day of the month on which the act, ordinance, or resolution
