Section 33-18-1 Alabama-Coosa-Tallapoosa River Basin Compact. The State of Alabama hereby agrees to the following interstate compact known as the Alabama-Coosa-Tallapoosa River Basin Compact: Alabama-Coosa-Tallapoosa River Basin Compact The States of Alabama and Georgia and the United States of America hereby agree to the following compact which shall become effective upon enactment of concurrent legislation by each respective state legislature and the Congress of the United States. The board shall be composed of nine members. Eight members of the board shall be active licensed chiropractors elected as provided in this section. Section 34-27-35 License certificates generally. (a) The commission shall prescribe the form and content of license certificates issued. Each qualifying broker's license certificate shall show the name and business address of the broker. The license certificate of each active salesperson or associate broker shall show his or her name and address. Every corporation organized under the laws of any other state, nation, or territory and doing business in this state, except strictly benevolent, educational, or religious corporations, shall pay annually to the state an annual franchise tax of three dollars ($3) on each one thousand dollars ($1,000) of the actual amount of its capital employed in this state.
