Section 19-3B-202 Jurisdiction over trustee and beneficiary. (a) A trustee submits personally to the jurisdiction of the courts of this state regarding any matter involving a trust: (1) by accepting the trusteeship of a trust whose settlor was a resident of this state at the time of the trust's creation, or in the case of testamentary trusts, the settlor was a resident of this state at death; (2) by accepting the trusteeship of a trust having its principal place of administration in this state; or (3) by moving the principal place of administration of the trust to this state. Notwithstanding the foregoing, subsection (a)(1) shall not apply if the settlor designates the law of a jurisdiction other than this state to govern the trust. (b) With respect to their interests in the trust, the beneficiaries of a trust having its principal place of administration in this state are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of this state regarding any matter involving the trust. Section 40-7-72 Additional appropriations. There is hereby appropriated to the Department of Revenue to be used in the program of ad valorem tax equalization provided for in this division, and shall be paid over to the Department of Revenue for this purpose, any other law to the contrary notwithstanding, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1972, $1,000,000, and for the year ending September 30, 1973, $3,000,000, which amounts shall be the first claim against the funds from which appropriated. Section 31-13-16 Certain business expense deductions prohibited. (a) No wage, compensation, whether in money or in kind or in services, or remuneration of any kind for the performance of services paid to an unauthorized alien shall be allowed as a deductible business expense for any state income or business tax purposes in this state. This subsection shall apply whether or not an Internal Revenue Service Form 1099 is issued in conjunction with the wages or remuneration.
