Section 13A-12-294 Collection of fee. The Director of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency shall establish and collect a nonrefundable fee in the amount of twenty-five dollars ($25) for costs incurred by the department in the administration of this division. The fee shall be in addition to the fees established under Section 32-6-17. The additional fee shall be collected upon application for reinstatement and the proceeds shall be deposited in the State Treasury to the credit of the Highway Traffic Safety Fund for the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency. Section 40-17-168.5 Surety bond. (a) Upon approval of the application by the department, the applicant must file with the department a surety bond. The bond amount for an applicant for a license as a public seller of CNG/LNG or a fleet producer of CNG/LNG shall be a minimum of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) or in the approximate amount of twice the average monthly tax liability, whichever is greater.
