Section 40-9F-4 Tax credits calculated, claimed, reserved, granted; transfer or assignment of tax credits. (a) The state portion of any tax credit against the tax imposed by Chapters 16 and 18, for the taxable year in which the certified rehabilitation is placed in service, shall be equal to 25 percent of the qualified rehabilitation expenditures for certified historic structures, and shall be 10 percent of the qualified rehabilitation expenditures for qualified pre-1936 non-historic structures. Section 9-16-8 Bonds, cash deposits or securities deposits of operators. (a) Any bond provided in this article to be filed with the department by the operator shall be in the form as the director prescribes, payable to the State of Alabama and conditioned that the operator shall faithfully perform all applicable requirements of this article and comply with all applicable rules of the department made in accordance with the provisions of this article. (a) The simplified sellers use tax due under the program is eight percent of the sales price on any tangible personal property sold or delivered into Alabama by an eligible seller participating in the program. The Department of Revenue is hereby authorized and directed to have prepared and distributed stamps suitable for denoting the tax on all articles enumerated herein.
