Section 40-15-7 Nonresident decedents. (a) Except as herein otherwise provided, all
of the provisions of this chapter shall be applicable to so much of the estates of nonresident
decedents as is subject to estate tax under the act of Congress in effect at the time of the

Section 40-18-39 Corporate returns. (a) Except as provided in subsection (c), every
corporation, joint stock company, or association subject to income tax under this chapter
shall file a return with the Department of Revenue for each taxable year, stating specifically
the items of its gross income and the deductions and credits allowed by this chapter. In cases
where receivers, trustees in bankruptcy, or assignees are operating the property or business
of corporations, such receivers, trustees, or assignees shall file returns for such corporations
in the same manner and form as corporations are required to file returns. Any tax due on the

of assessment. To prevent motor vehicles from escaping taxation and to provide for a more
efficient procedure for assessment and collection of taxes due on same, no licenses shall
be issued to operate motor vehicles on the public highways of this state, nor shall any transfer

Section 45-29-90.10 Levy of taxes; general fund. All revenues arising from this section
shall be deposited to the Tom Bevill Reservoir Management Area Authority general fund. This
section shall apply only to the Tom Bevill Reservoir Management Area. (1) There is

Section 40-10-7 Partial payment of taxes prior to sale of property. The tax collectors
of the several counties of the state are authorized and required to accept any moneys tendered
to them in partial payment of ad valorem taxes collectible by them at any time before the
decree of sale of the properties liable therefor; provided, that said payment shall be an
amount not less than one fourth of the total amount of taxes due, unless payment is made as
provided in Section 40-5-13; provided, that no such payment shall be made, nor shall
