Section 45-8A-20.22 Loans, sales, grants, etc., of money property, etc. to authority by counties,
municipalities, etc. For the purpose of effecting the revitalization and redevelopment of
the central business district of the city, any county, municipality, or other political subdivision,
public corporation, agency, or instrumentality of this state may, upon such terms and with
or without consideration, as it may determine: (1) Lend or donate money to or perform services
for the benefit of the authority; (2) Donate, sell, convey, transfer, lease, or grant to the
authority, without the necessity of authorization at any election of qualified voters, any
property of any kind, any interest therein and any franchise; and (3) Do any and all things,

Section 6-5-380 Liability of parents for destruction of property by minor; exception. (a) The
parent or parents, guardian, or other person having care or control of any minor under the
age of 18 years with whom the minor is living and who have custody of the minor shall be liable
for the actual damages sustained, but not exceeding the sum of $1,000, plus the court costs
of the action, to any person, firm, association, corporation and the State of Alabama and
its political subdivision for all damages proximately caused by the injury to, or destruction
of, any property, real, personal or mixed, by the intentional, willful, or malicious act or

Section 39-2-12 Partial and final payments of contractors by awarding authorities. (a) As used
in this section the following words shall have the meanings ascribed to them as follows: (1)
CONTRACTOR. Any natural person, partnership, company, firm, corporation, association, limited

Section 2-27-5.1 Local governments prohibited from passing ordinances regulating pesticides.
(a)(1) The term "pesticides" as used herein shall have the same meaning as set forth
in the Alabama Pesticide Act, Section 2-27-2(1). (2) Except as provided in subsection (b),

by the authority from any of its systems shall be fixed and periodically revised so as to
