Section 45-14-243.05 Collection of tax; enforcement. The tax imposed by this part shall constitute a debt due Clay County and may be collected as provided by law. The tax, together with interest and penalties with respect thereto, shall constitute and be secured by a lien upon the property of any person from whom the tax is due or who is required to collect the tax. Section 9-11-253 Transportation or shipment of skins or hides of fur-bearing animals without payment of state tax; bonds of dealers. It shall be a violation of this article, subject to the same penalties as are provided for other offenses in Section 9-11-235, for any person, firm or corporation or association to ship or carry from this state any skin or hide of any fur-bearing animal on which the state tax is due without the state tax first being paid.
