Section 45-41-200 License inspector. (a) In Lee County, there is hereby created and established the office of county license inspector. The county commission shall appoint the license inspector who shall serve at the pleasure of the appointing authority and under the supervision of the appointing officials. (b) The salary of the license inspector shall be in such sum as shall be approved by the county commission and shall be payable in biweekly installments out of any county funds available. Section 45-7-82.27 Costs and fees. (a) Prior to admission, the office of the district attorney may charge a nonrefundable application fee of one hundred dollars ($100). The amount of the assessment for participation in the program shall be in addition to any program supervision fees, court costs, and assessments for drug, alcohol, or anger treatments required by law, the district attorney, or the court, and are in addition to costs of supervision, treatment, and restitution for which the pretrial diversion admittee may be responsible. (a) A violation of the notification provisions of this chapter is an unlawful trade practice under the Alabama Deceptive Trade Practices Act, Chapter 19 of this title, but does not constitute a criminal offense under Section 8-19-12. The department shall charge Chilton County for collecting the tax levied under this part in an amount or percentage of total collections as may be agreed upon by the commissioner and the Chilton County Commission. The charge shall not exceed five percent of the total amount of the tax collected in the county.
