Section 34-8-22 Officers; bonds; compensation and expenses; rules and regulations. When
the Governor appoints the board, he or she shall designate and commission one member as the
chairperson, another as vice-chairperson, and another as secretary-treasurer. The board may
make the bylaws, rules, and regulations as it shall deem best, provided the same shall not
conflict with the laws of the State of Alabama. The secretary-treasurer shall give bond in
the sum as the board shall determine with the surety as shall be approved. The bond shall
be conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties of the office and for the faithful
accounting of all moneys and other properties as shall come into his or her hands. Each member

Section 40-18-19 Exemptions - Generally. (a) The following exemptions from income taxation
shall be allowed to every individual resident taxpayer: (1) Retirement allowances, pensions
and annuities, or optional allowances, approved by the Board of Control of the Teachers' Retirement

upon every person, firm, or corporation who sells, stores, delivers, uses, or otherwise consumes

Section 45-2-245.20 Trust fund established; administration. (a) Any laws or parts of
laws to the contrary notwithstanding, any annual privilege tax levied upon persons engaging
in the business of producing or severing oil or gas or other hydrocarbons from the soil or
waters of Baldwin County measured by the gross value of such oil or gas or other hydrocarbons

Section 45-23-82.07 Costs and fees. (a) An applicant may be assessed a fee when the
applicant is approved for the program. The amount of the assessment for participation in the
program shall be in addition to any court costs and assessments for victims of drug, alcohol,
or anger management treatment required by law, and are in addition to costs of supervision,
treatment, and restitution for which the person may be responsible. An applicant may not be
denied access into the pretrial diversion program based solely on his or her inability to
pay. Pretrial diversion program fees as established by this part may be waived or reduced
for just cause, including indigency of the applicant, at the discretion of the district attorney.
Any determination of indigency of the offender for the purposes of pretrial diversion fee

Section 45-4-70 Expense allowances. (a) In addition to any and all other compensation
or allowances heretofore provided by law, the chairman of the county governing body of Bibb
County shall receive an additional expense allowance of two hundred dollars ($200) per month
