(a) The taxes levied by this article, except as otherwise provided herein, shall be due and payable to the State Department of Revenue on or before the 20th day of the month next succeeding the month in which the tax accrues. Section 40-13-5 Deposit of proceeds; disbursement and appropriation of funds. (a) The entire proceeds from the privilege or license tax levied by Section 40-13-2 shall be deposited in the State Treasury to the credit of the Alabama State Docks Bulk Handling Facility Trust Fund.
