Section 45-49-201.42 Voiding of license for invalid payment. (a) In Mobile County in cases where a personal check given for a license is found to be noncollectible for any reason, the license commissioner shall notify the county commission, who shall make a reasonable attempt to retrieve the license in question. The license commissioner is also authorized to attempt to retrieve the license in question. In the event that the license cannot be retrieved, the county commission shall so state and such statement shall constitute authorization for the license commissioner to void any license in question.
