Section 17-9-30 Identification of electors; Alabama photo voter identification card. (a) Each elector shall provide valid photo identification to an appropriate election official prior to voting. A voter required to show valid photo identification when voting in person shall present to the appropriate election official one of the following forms of valid photo identification: (1) A valid Alabama driver's license or nondriver identification card which was properly issued by the appropriate state or county department or agency. Section 32-5A-195 Cancellation, suspension, or revocation of driver's license; grounds, procedure, etc. (a) The Secretary of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency is authorized to cancel any driver's license upon determining that the licensee was not entitled to the issuance thereof or that the licensee failed to give the correct or required information in his or her application. Section 40-6-4 Deductions from salaries or fees of officials charged with assessment or collection of taxes.
