Section 45-9-170 Regulation of junkyards; public nuisances; enforcement. (a) The regulation of the accumulation and storage of junk, inoperable motor vehicles, and other litter within the unincorporated areas of Chambers County, and licensing the operation of junkyards within the unincorporated areas of Chambers County is hereby declared to be in the public interest and necessary to promote the public safety, health, welfare, convenience, and enjoyment of public travel; to protect the public investment in public highways; to preserve and enhance the scenic beauty of lands and the environment; and to promote the conservation of natural mineral resources by encouraging recycling. Section 32-1-1.1 Definitions. The following words and phrases when used in this title, for the purpose of this title, shall have meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section, except when the context otherwise requires: (1) ALLEY. Section 40-7-25.1 Current use value of Class III property - Definition; appraisal of property at request of owner; legislative intent; applicability of section; method of valuation; factors considered in appraisal; rules and regulations of Department of Revenue; hearing objections.
