Section 4-9-3 Powers and duties of association generally; formulation of rules and regulations
by board of directors. Helicopter Pilots International, Inc., is hereby charged with the duty
of establishing, and is hereby granted all powers, rights, duties and functions to carry out,
a program of education and instruction for the training of helicopter pilots and to operate

Section 41-14A-6 Establishment of SAFE board of directors; powers and duties of the board of

Section 27-44-9 Assessments. (a) For the purpose of providing the funds necessary to carry
out the powers and duties of the association, the board of directors shall assess the member
insurers, separately for each account, at such time and for such amounts as the board finds
necessary. Assessments shall be due not less than 30 days after prior written notice to the

Section 27-44-11 Duties and powers of commissioner; appeal and review; notification. In addition
to the duties and powers enumerated elsewhere in this chapter: (1) The commissioner shall:
a. Upon request of the board of directors, provide the association with a statement of the
premiums in the appropriate states for each member insurer. b. When an impairment is declared
and the amount of the impairment is determined, serve a demand upon the impaired insurer to
