Section 40-2A-4 Taxpayers' bill of rights. (a) Rights of the taxpayer. (1) For purposes of this subsection and subsections (c) and (d), the term "department" shall include the Department of Revenue, a self-administered county or municipality, or a private examining or collecting firm, depending on whether the Department of Revenue, a self-administered county or municipality, or private examining or collecting firm is conducting the examination of the taxpayer. Section 40-9F-38 Historic Tax Credit Evaluating Committee. (a) There is hereby established the Historic Tax Credit Evaluating Committee, which shall review qualifying projects, approve credits for projects, and rank projects in the order in which the projects should receive tax credit reservations based on criteria established by the commission. The commission shall establish a review cycle for the committee beginning on January 1, 2018, provided that the committee shall meet at least quarterly unless no credits remain to be allocated. Section 40-29A-3 Tax amnesty program. (a) The department shall develop and implement a tax amnesty program in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. The commissioner may provide by rule as necessary for the administration and implementation of the program.
