Section 37-13-6 Officers of authority. The officers of the authority shall consist of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, a treasurer and such other officers as the board shall deem necessary to accomplish the purposes for which the authority was organized. The chairman, vice-chairman and secretary of the authority shall be elected by the board from its membership, but neither the treasurer nor any of the other officers of the authority need be a member of the board. Subject to the provisions of the immediately preceding sentence, the offices of secretary and treasurer may, but need not be, held by the same person.
