Section 45-41A-10.06 Board of Directors. (a) Each authority shall be governed by a board of directors. All powers of the authority shall be exercised by the board or pursuant to its authorization. The board shall consist of seven directors who shall be elected by the governing body of the city. The board shall consist of at least one each of the following qualified persons: (1) A licensed and practicing attorney. (2) A registered surveyor or practicing civil engineer. (3) A licensed and practicing accountant. (4) Three persons conducting day-to-day services, or property owners within the downtown development area.
