Section 2-5A-1 Establishment; powers and duties. (a) The Farmers' Market Authority is
established in the Department of Agriculture and Industries. The authority shall have the
powers and duties to establish agricultural markets to prevent waste and to provide marketing
facilities where farm products, including fruits, vegetables, nuts, truck crops, and other
agricultural commodities, and fish products, including, but not limited to, farm-raised fish,
shellfish, and wild fish, may be processed, graded, packaged, displayed, or exhibited in order

Section 33-2-8 General provisions relative to inland waterways improvement bonds and
temporary loans. In order to provide funds for the purposes herein authorized, the Governor
is hereby empowered to execute, with the concurrence of the director of state docks, and to
sell the state's bonds in such amounts, not exceeding in the aggregate the sum of $3,000,000.00

Section 23-1-66 Disposal of surplus personal property - Sale procedures. (a) This section
shall apply only to the property which has been held by the State Department of Transportation
for a period of not less than 60 days from the date the property is first published in the
