Section 30-5-8 Notice of hearing or other order to be sent to parties; registration of information;
automated process; additional fines. (a)(1) A copy of any notice of hearing or any protection
order under this chapter shall be sent to the plaintiff within 24 hours of issuance, provided
the plaintiff provides the court with current and accurate contact information, and to the
law enforcement officials with jurisdiction over the residence of the plaintiff. The clerk
of the court may furnish a certified copy of the notice of final hearing or protection order,
if any, electronically. (2) A copy of the petition and ex parte protection order, if issued,
under this chapter shall be served upon the defendant as soon as possible pursuant to Rule

Section 13A-6-141 Definitions. As used in this article, the following terms shall have the
following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) DOMESTIC
VIOLENCE PROTECTION ORDER. A domestic violence protection order is any protection from abuse
order issued pursuant to the Protection from Abuse Act, Sections 30-5-1 to 30-5-11, inclusive.
The term includes the following: a. A restraining order, injunctive order, or order of release
from custody which has been issued in a circuit, district, municipal, or juvenile court in
a domestic relations or family violence case; b. An order issued by municipal, district, or

Section 30-5B-5 Registration of order. (a) Any individual may register a foreign protection
order in this state. To register a foreign protection order, an individual shall present a
certified copy of the order to any circuit or district court clerk in the state and complete
an affidavit as provided in subsection (d). (b) The court clerk shall enter, as expeditiously
as possible, all necessary information into the State Judicial Information System which shall
be electronically transmitted by the Administrative Office of Courts to the Alabama Criminal
Justice Information System. After the order is registered, a copy of the order stamped filed
by the court clerk shall be provided by the clerk's office to the person registering the order.

Section 13A-11-72 Certain persons forbidden to possess pistol. (a) No person who has been convicted
in this state or elsewhere of committing or attempting to commit a crime of violence, misdemeanor

tax levied and collected under the provisions of this chapter to the Property Tax Relief Fund

Section 30-3D-708 Recognition and enforcement of registered Convention support order. (a) Except
as otherwise provided in subsection (b), a tribunal of this state shall recognize and enforce

Section 5-17-8 Reports to Administrator of Alabama Credit Union Administration; powers of administrator.
(a) Credit unions shall report to the Administrator of the Alabama Credit Union Administration
at least annually on or before January 31 in such manner and form as required by the administrator
for that purpose. Additional reports may be required. Credit unions shall be examined at least
every 18 months by employees of the administration or by other persons designated by the administrator.
For failure to file reports when due, unless excused for cause by the administrator, the credit
union shall pay to the State Treasurer five dollars ($5) for each day of its delinquency.
