Section 27-1-12 Penalty for violation of title. Each willful violation of this title for which
a greater penalty is not provided by another provision of this title or by other applicable
laws of this state shall, in addition to any applicable prescribed denial, suspension, or
revocation of certificate of authority or license, be punishable as a misdemeanor, upon conviction,
by a fine of not more than $1,000.00, or by imprisonment in the county jail, or by sentence
to hard labor for the county, for a period not to exceed one year, or by both such fine and
imprisonment or hard labor in the discretion of the court. Each instance of violation shall

Section 37-9-31 Penalties. Every person, including any officer, agent or employee of a corporation,
who violates, procures, aids or abets in the violation of any provision of this chapter or
fails to comply with any order, decision or regulation issued by the commission shall be guilty

Section 26-23F-7 Remedies and penalties. (a) In addition to other remedies available under
law or common law of this state, violation of any provision of Section 26-23F-5 shall: (1)
Provide a basis for recovery in a civil action for the parent or parents of the infant or
the parent, parents, or guardian of the mother, if the mother is a minor, for experimentation

policies to ensure rights. All providers who contract or subcontract with any federal, state,
or local agency or program to provide services in the State of Alabama to persons with developmental
disabilities or traumatic brain injury in Alabama shall develop and implement written policies
and procedures to ensure the rights enumerated above are observed by the provider in discharging
its contractual or subcontractual duties and responsibilities. At a minimum, these policies

Section 5-22-6 Criminal penalties. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section,
a person who willfully violates any provision of Section 5-22-3 shall in addition to other

laws or rules regulating the horsepower of the engines of the vessels operating on the waters
