Section 21-1-17 Bureau of Information for aid of blind or deaf; powers and duties of Adult Department as to training, etc., of blind or deaf persons; development of policies, etc. It shall be the duty of the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, through its Adult Department, to maintain a Bureau of Information, the object of which shall be to aid the blind or deaf whose training is not otherwise provided for in finding employment, in developing home industries, and in marketing their products. (a) Every person transporting a child in a motor vehicle operated on the roadways, streets, or highways of this state, shall provide for the protection of the child by properly using an aftermarket or integrated child passenger restraint system meeting applicable federal motor vehicle safety standards and the requirements of subsection (b).
