Section 2-3A-33 Alabama Agricultural, Forestry, and Veterinary Medicine Facilities Improvement Fund. Section 22-22A-17 Navigable Waters Dredging Fund. (a) Notwithstanding any provision of law, the budget proposed each year for the Alabama Department of Environmental Management shall include as a line item in the General Fund Budget the Navigable Waters Dredging Fund for the dredging of the navigable waters of this state and for sediment reuse. The director of the department shall present the proposed budget at the appropriate budget hearing scheduled by the Alabama Legislature. Section 40-13-5 Deposit of proceeds; disbursement and appropriation of funds. (a) The entire proceeds from the privilege or license tax levied by Section 40-13-2 shall be deposited in the State Treasury to the credit of the Alabama State Docks Bulk Handling Facility Trust Fund. (a) The Alabama Department of Revenue shall retain one-quarter of one percent (0.25%) of the tax proceeds, less any refunds, from this additional excise tax on gasoline and diesel fuel for its cost of collection.
